After a long gap I started working on my latest portrait commission. I love the warmth, the reddish skintones and the darks! While waiting for my garndson, I worked on this commission. I thought may be I wont be able to complete it in time. But I think my garndson is cooperating with me. here I am still waiting for him. This painting has a story. Love to hear some comments, and I will write the story soon.

Waiting for the images! I should be ready within couple of days for my Portrait a day series. I am excited and love to start. Painting keeps me energetic and alive! My thoughts always surrounded by how can I interpret this subject, how can i get this effect, how well i can present it, what colors I will go with, How can I portray her! I lost contact with my good friend Jenna. I offered her that I will paint her daughter some time, and now I have time but where is she!!!

A Still Life Composition, Third painting for the show.  Oils on 20" x 16" canvas.  

This is my first painting after I reached India. The President of GITAM University, an eminent personality here in Visakhapatnam. I take pride in working on his painting. Took me time to get used to the weather. Oil painting on 20" x 34" artist canvas. Lot of deatils in the background. I did not want to take out any of the items seen in the picture, and ended up painting every detail as it is.
